At the edge of winter

A small light changes a dark scene. In the winter illustrations, a lantern draws the eye towards a creature or a traveller, bringing warmth into a world of blue, white and deep green.

These images suggest a pause: the hush of snow, the shelter of a room, the companionship of something familiar when the world outside feels wide and strange.

Stories for the keeping

The same sense of shelter shapes the objects being imagined for Wyrd Hills. A lampshade offers a place for illustration to become part of the evening, softening a corner and letting an old story live beside ordinary life.

As the collection grows, the Wyrd Journal will make space for studio notes, seasonal observations and the stories behind new pieces.
